Brad Wheelwright joined WeatherFlow’s forecasting division in the fall of 2010. Years earlier he had studied at Williams College where he received a B.S. in Geography. First and foremost, though, Brad is a student of the ocean and the atmosphere. He has a passion for studying tropical weather and analyzing climatology.
The Cape Cod native has spent his lifetime near the ocean and even worked in the craft of wooden boat construction. In New England, Brad developed a passion for surfing, seamanship, dinghy racing, and windsurfing.
He now spends most of his time on Maui where he can often be found wave-sailing at Ho’okipa Beach. Yet, he still takes the time to get home to Cape Cod each summer and to spend some time windsurfing at beaches like Chapin and Horseneck.
